The Sudarshan Chakra Environment Mission aims to act as a united global force to reverse environmental degradation. Drawing from the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) frameworks, our mission will address pressing challenges like air and water pollution, deforestation, biodiversity loss, and climate change. This will include:
Large-scale ecosystem restoration projects in degraded lands, riversides, and coastal areas.
Reforestation and afforestation campaigns involving communities, schools, and governments.
Collaboration with UNEP Global Environmental Outlook programs to align our action plans with global best practices.
By working at the global, national, and local levels simultaneously, the mission ensures that solutions are context-specific while contributing to the collective global effort for environmental health.
4b.ii. Provide Universal Environmental Education for All Students, Supporting UNDP Initiatives for Inclusive, Sustainable Learning
Education is the most powerful tool for environmental transformation. The mission will partner with schools, universities, and e-learning platforms to:
Integrate climate change and sustainability into school curricula in line with UNDP’s Sustainable Learning Agenda.
Develop free, multilingual digital resources so environmental education is accessible to students in remote and underprivileged areas.

Forests: Promote large-scale reforestation to increase carbon sequestration and revive degraded ecosystems.
Biodiversity: Protect endangered species through conservation awareness programs and support for wildlife sanctuaries.
Pollution Control: Fight air, water, and plastic pollution with microplastics awareness drives, clean-up projects, and waste management innovations.
These campaigns will follow the action-oriented approaches of UNEP’s Clean Seas and Wild for Life campaigns and UNDP’s Climate Promise framework.
